“Ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
Acts 1:8
INFLUENCE AND PARTICIPATION
Society is the accumulated consequence of what has been believed, built, funded, taught and defended over time. What begins as a decision eventually becomes a policy, an institution, a standard or a reality people live within. Consequence is therefore the end of a process, not the beginning.
Absence does not create neutrality; it means those realities are formed without our contribution. The greater the consequence a decision carries, the more seriously we should consider who is present when it is made. Society will continue to move, with or without our participation. If we enter only when something requires resistance or reversal, we are arriving after the work of shaping has already been done.
SEVEN SPHERESOF INFLUENCE
The institutions shaping how society lives
Society takes shape through the institutions that govern its most important functions. Their direction ultimately affects the direction of society itself.
