Who told you that’s
how it should happen?

There is a frustration that comes with reaching the age you thought you would already be married, have children, feel settled and have life figured out.

Read Ntando’s note

You look at your life and think, This is not how I pictured it.

But who gave you that picture?

Did God tell you that you would be married by 25? Did He tell you children would come by a certain age? Did He tell you what your life would look like by now?

Or did you build that timeline from what you saw around you, what society celebrates, what your family expected, what your friends are doing and what your own body is beginning to desire?

Sometimes we are grieving a promise God never made.

Because if I never asked God about that part of my life, why am I holding Him accountable to an expectation He never gave me?

Before planning around it, ask the Lord about it.

Let’s talk about it

There’s room for
all of it.

Singleness · Dating · Marriage

A full life, in every season.

What does a full life look like when marriage is not the centre of it? Singleness can hold purpose, freedom, desire, questions and a life that is already complete in its own right.

And when two lives meet, faith, values, character and direction matter. There is more to love than a timeline.

QuestionHow do you navigate sexual purity after having an active sexual life?

Naledi K.

One word: flee. Just run. Sexual intimacy before marriage does more damage than good. It is easier to navigate purity when you understand the cost of sin.

Siphokazi M.

The hardest part was learning that desire did not disappear just because my convictions changed. I had to become honest about what triggers me and stop putting myself in situations where I already knew I would struggle.

Busi G.

I realised that choosing purity did not remove desire. It just changed what I did with it.
